A growing organisation based in Redcar is looking to appoint a Finance Analyst to support its expanding finance function. This role is ideal for a newly qualified or finalist accountant, particularly those with practice experience, offering strong exposure to senior stakeholders and business-wide decision making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet and variances)
2. Weekly and monthly financial reporting and analysis
3. Monitoring revenue, utilisation and costs against forecast and budget
4. Managing fixed assets, accruals and prepayments
5. Advanced Excel-based analysis and reporting
6. Supporting finance system and software implementations
7. Improving financial processes, reporting and forecasting accuracy
Skills & Experience
8. ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist
9. Practice background highly advantageous
10. Strong Excel and analytical capability
11. Confident communicator with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
