Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The right candidate may come from a cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design background.
We are looking for a problem solver who loves challenges and works well as part of a diverse team to take highly creative concepts through to final products or displays.

We seek candidates with experience in engineering software such as ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. Our designs balance creativity and practicality, developing eye-catching displays that are cost-effective and adhere to brand and retailer guidelines. Teamwork is central to our culture, with collaboration among 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities include:
* Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
* Understanding manufacturing processes and focusing on value engineering and efficiency improvements.
* Conducting weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
* Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail standards.
* Handling a range of briefs from simple shelf trays to complex displays and event structures.
* Thriving in a fast-paced studio environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
* Innovating and challenging conventional design approaches.
