The Opportunity – Prestige Automotive Technician
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Mechanic to join our busy and well-equipped workshop in Swindon.
This position offers exposure to varied and technically challenging work across prestige, performance, and fleet vehicles. It is ideal for a technician who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving, and delivering high-level mechanical and electrical repairs.
Core Responsibilities
* Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics across engine, gearbox, electrical and mechanical systems
* Complete servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
* Perform mechanical repairs including suspension, braking systems and drivetrain components
* Conduct scheduled inspections across a small managed fleet
* Utilise specialist diagnostic platforms and manufacturer-level software
* Undertake air conditioning servicing, tyre fitting, and general workshop repairs
* Accurately complete service records and digital job cards
* Work collaboratively to maintain workshop productivity and quality standards
About You
* Experienced Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic capability
* Comfortable working independently within a professional workshop

Skills & Qualifications Required
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an automotive technician or mechanic role
* MOT Tester licence beneficial but not essential
* Proven experience in fault diagnosis and modern vehicle electronics
* Full UK driving licence
