Head of Project - Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism

bemix is looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Training to oversee our training team in delivering the powerful Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism across Kent and Medway.
This is a vital role within a diverse and thriving organisation, which is the leading partner for the delivery of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training and Leadership Development of Autistic and Learning Disabled Experts by Experience for Kent and Medway. A new partnership comprising Aucademy, bemix and the Kent Autistic Trust has been commissioned by the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) to implement the training in Kent and Medway.
The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is named after Oliver McGowan, whose death shone a light on the need for health and social care staff to have better training. The Health and Care Act 2022 introduced a statutory requirement that regulated service providers must ensure their staff receive training on understanding the Autistic experience and learning disability that is appropriate to their role.
