Responsibilities
* Raise and manage production orders in our ERP system (e.g. Acumatica), aligned with demand and schedules.
* Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring accuracy across components, quantities, and revisions.
* Own short-term inventory planning to ensure material availability for production.
* Monitor stock levels and proactively resolve shortages with procurement and warehouse teams.
* Generate and issue pick lists to support accurate and timely material allocation.
* Coordinate daily and weekly production plans with the shop floor to ensure achievable schedules.
* Track production progress and adjust plans in response to demand or capacity changes.
* Ensure data integrity across planning, inventory, and production records within the ERP system.
Qualifications
* Experience in production planning, materials planning, or a supply chain role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g. Acumatica or similar).
* Good understanding of BOM structures and inventory management principles.
* High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally with production, procurement, and warehouse teams.
* Proficiency in Excel for tracking and analysis.
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
* APICS/CPIM or similar certification.
