I've partnered with a genuinely awesome, high growth PE backed FinTech for their new Director of FP&A. This organisation are one of my favourite clients and I've worked closely with them for the last 5 years or so and have watched first hand the amazing journey they have been on and its only getting more exciting as they go on another phase of huge growth. They have a truly brilliant and inspirational CEO, a fantastic SLT made up of very high calibre, compassionate and intelligent people.
So we're now supporting them on the search for their new the Director of FP&A, where you will be responsible for building and leading the financial planning and analysis function during a critical growth phase. This role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on development of FP&A capabilities. You will work closely with the CFO and play a key role in enhancing their overall finance function as they push the organisation on to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and implement comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation
* Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning
* Create robust management reporting frameworks and KPI dashboards
* Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, providing insights to drive performance
* Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, upskilling current members
* Partner with department heads to improve financial planning and analysis capabilities
* Partner with the Commercial teams & RevOps to create meaningful data streams to show accurate & timely performance
* Implement new FP&A systems and tools to automate and enhance reporting processes
Required Experience:
* 10+ years of FP&A experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within high-growth technology or fintech companies
* Track record of building FP&A functions and implementing budgeting processes from scratch
* Experience in selecting and implementing FP&A systems and tools
* Strong background in financial modeling and analysis
* Experience working with private equity investors and their reporting requirements
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred

* Proficiency with modern FP&A tools and systems
* Strong project management and process improvement capabilities
