We are seeking an outstanding teacher with a passion for working with children with SEMH needs. The Primary Inclusion Team was established in 2015 and over the past ten years has earned a reputation across Salford schools of partnership, inclusion and challenge. We require a teacher who has excellent skills in meeting the needs of children with SEMH needs in mainstream classrooms, and excellent classroom behaviour management.
The appointed person will:
* Have a secure understanding of the reasons that some children have difficulty accessing mainstream education;
* Have excellent communication skills in order to provide behaviour support to staff in mainstream schools across the authority;
* Be confident in having supportive and challenging conversations with senior leaders in mainstream schools;
* An effective and adaptable team player with strong interpersonal skills;
* Have experience of delivering high quality and engaging training;
* Has resilience and self- reflection.
