Our client is growing and looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer to support their expanding hardware estate. This role suits someone hands‑on, proactive, and confident supporting users in a fast‑moving environment.
The Role
You’ll handle hardware support across the business, managing service desk tickets, resolving incidents, and overseeing hardware refreshes and upgrades. The role includes supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals, as well as deploying and managing devices using Intune and other MDM tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Support hardware refreshes, upgrades, and device issues
* Provide hands‑on support for laptops, desktops, mobiles, and printers
* Deploy and manage devices via Intune and MDM platforms
* Build and maintain Windows and Android images
* Assist with IT projects and escalations
Skills Needed
* 3+ years’ hardware/device support experience
* Strong Windows 11, Android OS, and Microsoft 365 knowledge
* Experience with MDM platforms
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Basic networking knowledge
* Experience with Intune and Azure AD
Points to note
* Applicants must be able to commute to the Winchester office on a daily basis
* Applicants must have a valid driving licence & transport. The office is not accessible via public transport.
* Applicants must also recognise the physical demands of the role, such as handling / moving hardware equipment.
* Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
