We're looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover. The role of Agratas’ Corporate Communications team is to establish, promote and protect our corporate brand to a range of internal and external stakeholders. We do this by proactively creating and delivering engaging positive communications from around the business to promote success and awareness, as well as anticipating, managing, reacting to and mitigating against issues that may negatively impact the reputation of the business. You will be responsible for partnering with the business to deliver holistic communication activities via earned, owned and shared media to bring Agratas’ strategy, growth and impact to life, and to address challenges through engagement with external and internal audiences. This will involve leading the delivery and development of compelling communication strategies and content for external and internal audiences. The individual will support Senior Leadership with their external communications activity, uncovering storytelling opportunities and providing trusted expertise and counsel. This role will have shared responsibility for embedding and managing day-to-day delivery of the corporate social media strategy for company owned corporate and leadership channels. A strong understanding of digital channels, alongside a creative and innovative approach with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders are skills vital to success in this role. This is a hybrid working role that will be based in our Coventry office on the University of Warwick campus. Your responsibilities include: Supporting communications strategy development and key external communications projects for Corporate Communications by aligning all messages into one authentic voice for the corporate brand through multiple channels. Lead delivery of an internal communications strategy that supports Agratas company-wide strategy, purpose, mission and company culture. Develop opportunities to enhance and improve existing communications channels and tactics, using data and metrics to report and provide feedback / improvement recommendations on engagement good practice. As a storyteller you will manage the creation and delivery of exceptional communications campaigns for key priorities, crafting compelling messaging and engaging content to bring our business to life for external and internal audiences. Effectively manage the businesses reputation, identify and mitigate risk and ensure consistent, precise and accurate messaging in line with our purpose, mission and company culture across our content and channels. Support with identification and delivery of proactive external content and speaker opportunities for the executive leadership team, successfully amplifying the work cross functional teams to external and internal audiences and building positive relationships. Corporate Press Office management, as part of team rota system, monitoring and dealing with media enquiries out of hours as well as drafting and securing approval for content / statements, as required. Developing high-level strategic relationships with core stakeholders, cross functionally to uncover and develop new opportunities and campaigns. This will include Agratas’ senior leadership. Lead and develop supporting Corporate Communications team, as well as partner agencies to optimise results. Qualifications & Experience: Relevant studies/degree/qualification ideally with a specialization in communication or in a related field Experience in internal and external communications Excellent communications experience in effective global campaigns Excellent media understanding and handling skills Excellent leadership skills of managing a team Demonstrable ability to make the complex simple: producing communications which are relevant and comprehendible for all levels of the company to meet key objectives Able to negotiate and influence (including at senior executive level) across the organisation Exceptional creative storytelling abilities – with the ability to bring change to life creatively through a variety of media including digital and experiential Experience of the production and management of content and/or events, including press release/pack production, photo/film shoots / briefs / storyboards, as required Desired Experienced in events management Digital content production skills – including filming, editing and photography Working in stand-alone communications role with large organisation and/or a diverse customer group Automotive, energy, industrial or engineering sector experience What you’ll get… As a new company, our reward scheme is constantly evolving.
