Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO looking for a fulfilling part-time role in a warm and welcoming primary school?
Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, to recruit a dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join their team from September 2025.
The Role:
* Part-time – 4 days per week
o 2 days per week as SENCO
o 2 days per week as class teacher (Key Stage to be agreed)
* Responsible for leading SEND provision across the school
* Work closely with teaching staff, support staff, external agencies and parents
* Develop and implement effective support strategies for pupils with a range of needs
* Support EHCP applications, annual reviews and maintain accurate records
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it)
* A thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
* Previous experience working as a SENCO or in a similar role is highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
