Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with hand and power tools, as well as a background in electrical systems. This role involves assembling and fitting components in accordance with technical specifications, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the process.
Responsibilities
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine assembly requirements
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble components
Conduct electrical installations and repairs as required
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fitting process
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Basic electrical experience is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
