Location: Woking, Surrey

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: 34,397 - 52,489 per annum (MPS/UPS, depending on experience)

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Chemistry / Physics Teacher to join a thriving and forward‑thinking secondary school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspirational educator to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive Science department dedicated to academic excellence, innovation, and inclusion.

What You'll Be Doing

* Teach Chemistry and/or Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to explore and question the world around them
* Deliver high‑quality lessons that combine practical investigation with scientific theory and application
* Use effective assessment and feedback to support progress and achievement for all learners
* Contribute to the continued development of an ambitious and knowledge‑rich Science curriculum
* Play an active role in the wider school community through enrichment, clubs, and collaborative planning


We're looking for a teacher who

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an ECT with a strong subject background in Chemistry and/or Physics
* Is passionate about engaging young people in the sciences and fostering critical, independent thinking
* Has excellent classroom management and a reflective, research‑informed approach to teaching
* Works collaboratively with colleagues and contributes positively to a supportive team culture
