About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead and evolve our multi-platform digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who can merge creativity with strategy and drive meaningful growth and engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and execute a platform-specific content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X
* Create and edit short-form video, meme, and graphic content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, and mobile apps
* Plan and schedule content using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer)
* Identify and capitalise on viral trends, memes, and timely content opportunities
* Collaborate with producers, content creators, and on-air talent to reflect the tone and style of shows
* Monitor analytics and audience insights to refine strategy and improve performance
* Drive audience engagement and manage community interactions across channels
* Contribute to campaigns that support commercial goals such as partnerships, listener growth, or merchandise sales
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a creative and strategic thinker with a strong background in digital media and a track record of turning social content into real audience growth.
You should have:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a social media management role - ideally within podcasting, radio, digital broadcasting, or entertainment media
* Demonstrable experience growing social media followings and converting that growth into commercial gains (e.g. ad revenue, partnerships, audience conversion)
* Proven ability to manage multiple platforms with tailored content strategies
* Confidence using tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, and scheduling/analytics platforms
* A deep understanding of digital culture, emerging trends, and storytelling in social formats
* Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to tone and detail
* Excellent time management and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* A passion for new media, talk content, and building authentic audience relationships
