Job Ad: Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant - All-Through SEND SchoolPosition: Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Hartley Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday We are seeking a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support students aged 3-19 at our all-through SEND school. Students have a range of needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, PMLD, medical needs, and challenging behaviour. You will play a key role in supporting their development both academically and socially. The school also runs a Forest School providing opportunities for students to explore nature, take supported risks, and develop emotionally, socially, and physically through child-initiated activities. Key Responsibilities: •Provide 1:1 and group support to students with varying SEND needs. •Assist with managing challenging behaviour and supporting social and emotional development. •Support the delivery of Forest School activities, encouraging student interaction with nature. •Collaborate with teachers to implement personalised learning plans. Requirements: •Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, or PMLD. •Strong communication and teamwork skills. •Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students thrive.
