Our client a Multi Modal International Freight Forwarder is now seeking a candidate to working within their busy sales Administration Department.



The role involves assisting the sales team by providing quotes, managing customers freight quote inquiries via BDM’s, coordinating with operations, and supporting administrative tasks to help secure and manage client business for shipments via air, sea,



Key responsibilities:

· Include processing customer requests, maintaining CRM records, liaising

with overseas partners, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal

teams to deliver seamless shipping solutions.

· Serve as a point of contact for BDM’s new and existing customers, answering questions via

email, phone, and live chat.

· Process and prepare Air freight quotes for the sales team and clients, ensuring competitive

· and accurate pricing.

· Handle administrative duties such as data entry, CRM management, and maintaining a shared

mailbox.

· Work closely with sales executives and operational teams to ensure clients' needs are met

and commitments are fulfilled.

· Liaise with overseas freight forwarding partners and internal departments to develop and

execute tailored shipping solutions.

· Research and provide market data, monitor shipment tracking, and stay updated on customs

requirements and international trade regulations.



Required Skills and Experience:

· A strong ability to provide excellent customer service and build internal and external

relationships.

· Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with customers, internal teams, and

external partners.

· Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, quotes, and follow -ups efficiently.

· Basic understanding of air freight forwarding processes.

· Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is often a requirement.

· The ability to resolve issues and coordinate with different departments to find effective

solutions for clients.

Hybrid role : 4 days in the office, 1 Day WFH
Salary : £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
Start Date : ASAP
