EYFS Teaching Assistant Required Immediate Start (North Leeds) Academic Appointments are working with primary schools inNorth Leedswho are currently searching for full-time/part-timeEYFS Teaching Assistantsto work as part of dedicated and resourceful early years team.
Successful candidates will find themselves in welcoming and positive environments with enthusiastic and creative teaching staff who are supported by strong senior leadership teams. Classrooms are focused on maintaining an engaging atmosphere for young children and practitioners alike, with a strong emphasis on learning through play and fostering holistic development. You will play a crucial role in supporting the development and learning of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Requirements: To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant position, you will:
* Hold ateaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience specific to Early Years.
* Haveexperience working in an EYFS or primary school setting, specifically with Nursery or Reception aged children.
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its principles is essential.This includes understanding the four guiding principles (A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments, and Learning and Development) and the seven areas of learning.
* Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
* 2 x references (including your last employer)
