Summary
We are currently seeking a Packer to join our dynamic team. Based in Elstree, this role is essential for ensuring that our parcels are packed efficiently and accurately, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional delivery services to our clients.
Responsibilities
* Working with timber and plywood to build and produce crates, packing cases and pallets for our clients' products.
* Using power saws
* Nail guns
* Drills
* Other hand tools
* Cutting foam for crate inserts
* Forklift operation
* On-site packing for customers
* Local customer deliveries when required
* Working to high standards of quality and health & safety
* Physical and varied work (heavy lifting is involved)
Requirements
* Experience in case making environment is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
* Ability to lift heavy items safely and effectively.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
* Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
We offer a competitive salary depending on experience.
Hours of work: 8:00 - 16:30 with 1 hour for lunch
Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
