Subcontracts Manager

Responsibilities
* Handling Supplier Management completely – qualification of suppliers, subcontract management process, proposal management, tendering and contract management.
* Developing and negotiating detailed contractual agreements, including frame agreements with suppliers, and leading cross‑functional teams in contract design and negotiation.
* Building solid supplier management relationships to oversee third‑party services, process design and day‑to‑day operational engagements.
* Developing strategic contracting approaches with suppliers to drive greater certainty into project execution.
* Overseeing sub‑contracting: transitioning from “back‑to‑back” to informed risk distribution and strategies (knowledge‑base approach).
* Supporting the bids team in proposal development, risk management, scope definition, contractual initiatives, customer communications, and negotiations.
* Ensuring all necessary main contract flow‑downs are included for bid and project teams.
* Identifying, managing, and reporting commercial risks across project scopes of work by controlling overall project risk and opportunity review.
* Guiding commercial operations in proposal preparations of projects under existing agreements, contributing to overall deal strategy.
* Generating creative solutions to meet global company energy‑transition objectives within commercial proposals.
* Supporting the Contract Partnership teams in developing consortium agreements, Subsea Production Systems offers, and Fullstream activities.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, or another relevant legal, contractual, commercial, procurement, or energy‑related field.
2. Substantial contract‑management experience in oil and gas, including onshore and offshore services and fabrication.
3. Knowledge of oil and gas contracts, terms, conditions, and negotiation techniques.
4. Proven experience providing commercial support in an international business environment for complex industries.
5. Effective communication skills and ability to work with all organizational levels.
6. Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Ability to present complex issues understandably.
8. Strong analytical/critical thinking skills and well‑developed commercial acumen.
9. Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight schedules and deadlines.
