The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth and expand market share for our office agency business by leveraging innovative tech platforms and data-driven tools. This role combines traditional commercial real estate expertise with a passion for technology, enabling clients to find, lease, or manage office space efficiently and intelligently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
* Identify, target, and develop relationships with corporate occupiers, landlords, and investors.
* Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and leveraging tech-enabled tools.
* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a high conversion rate.
* Upsell and cross-sell additional services and platform features to existing clients.
2. Technology & Innovation
* Utilise proprietary or third-party tech platforms to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and deliver insights to clients.
* Work closely with internal product/tech teams to communicate market feedback and suggest platform improvements.
* Demonstrate the value of technology solutions to prospective clients, highlighting efficiency, cost savings, or data insights.
3. Client Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
* Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Ensure clients receive a seamless, high-quality service experience.
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of office market trends, pricing, and competitor activity.
* Prepare and deliver market reports, proposals, and presentations to clients.
* Provide regular sales pipeline updates and forecasts to senior management.
5. Collaboration & Teamwork
* Work closely with marketing, operations, and tech teams to support campaigns, product launches, and customer onboarding.
* Support internal training and knowledge sharing on tech tools and market trends.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven business development or sales experience in commercial real estate, preferably office agency or coworking/flexible space sectors.
* Strong understanding of property tech (PropTech) and ability to sell tech-enabled solutions.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Target-driven with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of office market trends in London/UK.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and data analytics tools.
