New Business Development Director Summary FM BioEnergy provides a range of services to help operators of anaerobic digestion plants gain more control of the process and increase methane yields in order to improve the return on investment.

We have taken our knowledge of livestock nutrition and built on this by partnering with Schaumann BioEnergy, the German market leaders in biogas optimisation and process efficiency. We work across both waste and agricultural plants and our client base generatesover 35% of the UK'sAD biogas output. The AD BD Manager will develop and grow trading opportunities for feedstock supplies and value added products into the AD sector on a national basis, monitoring agreed trading positions and volume levels. With a particular emphasis upon delivering increased opportunities for developing and expanding feedstock sales across the UK (for both Farm and Waste plants), the AD BD Manager will work closely with FM BioEnergy, CirQlar and FF colleagues to ensure cross-selling opportunities are maximised. Grow the pool of suppliers of feedstocks to the AD industry and co-procure with the animal feed team where appropriate. Purpose of the Job Develop feedstock opportunities Nationally to maximise returns to suppliers and the business. Grow feedstock supplier portfolio via food and drink suppliers and waste streams Work closely with the wider business teams to optimise route to market activity for defined products across the business Work closely with existing teams to develop strong customer relationships and maximise cross-selling opportunities Share knowledge of the AD industry to colleagues and help represent the business at trade events Key Accountabilities Sales volumes and margin realisation for feedstock sales Following up on leads from wider teams Identifying new business opportunities and working with team on how to capture. 100% logging on C4C of all customer interactions. To monitor, develop and maintain the input of information into C4C database system. Flexibility to attend meetings Nationally as required To assist wider teams with site clearance responsibilities to gain maximum returns across all routes to market Skills Required Minimum 2 years experience within AD industry (preferably within feedstock sales/procurement).
