Role – Finishing and packing assistant
Location – Based close to Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours – 40 hours per week.
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Rate of pay – £25,500 per annum
Our client is a leading manufacturer and is looking for an addition to their production team. Candidates ideally will have working experience in a similar position and will need transport due to the location of the business.
Main duties will include –
Preparation of materials, assembly, final finish and packing of their product range
Ability to read and understand bill of materials and to have a good understanding of the job file system.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and have good attention to details
Use of hand and power tools
Working to strict health and safety rules
To help and assist with instillations and re certifications onsite
Any other duties as and when required
Candidate attributes –
Ability to work using own initiative and to have good attention to detail skills
Good communication skills
A sound knowledge of the manufacturing process and having worked with hand and power tools
Must be a team player
Ideally will have an in date forklift licence
