Your New Role As Voids Surveyor, you will support the Voids Manager in delivering high-quality services across Croydon's housing stock. You will inspect empty properties, categorise voids, identify required repairs, and ensure works are completed to the minimum lettable standard within agreed timescales. You will manage contractor performance, approve variations, and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and CDM regulations. This role involves significant site work, managing complex customer needs, and working collaboratively with contractors and internal teams to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction. What You'll Need to Succeed Strong technical knowledge of building construction and maintenance. Experience in responsive repairs and void property management. Excellent customer care and communication skills. Ability to manage budgets and deliver value-for-money solutions. Full UK driving licence and ability to work flexibly. Qualifications HNC or trade qualifications in building construction (desirable). Health & Safety knowledge. IT literacy and experience using Microsoft Office.
