We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting in food production and kitchen management. You will be responsible for supervising kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence, and maintaining a harmonious working environment. Responsibilities
* Assist & Lead in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
* Supervise and lead kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
* Ensure food production meets quality standards and adheres to health and safety regulations.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
* Help create innovative dishes that reflect current culinary trends.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate effectively.
* In-depth knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
