Multi Trade Operative - Plumber - Maintenance

Specific Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations
* Diagnosing faults and completing works efficiently
* Ensuring all work complies with Health and Safety regulations
* Delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service
* Work independently on task lists
* Assist and liaise with external contractors and others as necessary
* Undertake emergency jobs (e.g. reacting to the impact of weather conditions on buildings and grounds)
* Maintenance of buildings and offices to comply with current legislation
* Responsible for own personal safety and risk assess each situation accordingly using the provided safety planning information
* Highlight any safeguarding concerns to the Management Team
* Attend all relevant training courses and meetings as required
* Adhere to all Target Housing's policies and procedures
* Perform any other duties as requested or required to further the aims of the organisation and as directed by the Management Team
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
* Previous experience in domestic or maintenance plumbing
* Unvented cylinder qualification advantageous but not essential (training will be given)
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Good communication skills and professional attitude

* Able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
* You will demonstrate good aptitude for 'hands on' work and the use of hand tools
* Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions
* You have a positive 'can do' attitude, with adaptability to change and varying work priorities
* You will have excellent reliability & flexibility as a team member, committed to excellent levels of punctuality and attendance
* You will be a high-quality installer/fitter/joiner
* A full driving licence is essential
* An awareness of Health & Safety working practices
