We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our award‑winning and dynamic Dermatology team at Royal Cornwall Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment, delivering high‑quality care to patients across Cornwall.

Main duties of the job

• Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Dermatology patients.
• To share with colleagues the responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of the Dermatology Department.
• Teaching and training of junior staff and medical students where applicable.
• To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
• To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
• To attend meetings as appropriate.
• Fulfil duties of the weekly timetable, including acute work.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• GMC Registration with a Full Licence to Practice

Desirable Qualifications

• Attended appropriate Training courses

Essential Experience

• Wide experience in all aspects of Dermatology
• Teaching (Medical students, peers, MDT).
• Experienced in Clinical Audit and Clinical Governance

Desirable Experience

• To provide a range of services to compliment the current skill mix of the department.
