About the role
The National Security business in Manchester is growing, providing opportunities to work with National Security clients to deliver impactful solutions. Join a team that not only delivers for clients but also engages with the community through activities that build tech and cyber skills.
We are looking for additional Software Engineers following our growth and success in the UK Government sector.
What you could be doing for us:
* Designing, coding, testing, correcting, and documenting simple programs; assisting in implementing software as part of engineered information or communications systems.
* Providing accurate estimates of development effort based on specifications.
* Leading a team of junior-mid level developers, offering oversight and mentorship.
* Analyzing code defects and producing timely fixes.
What background are we looking for?
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, or C++.
* A desire to solve complex technical problems and help clients achieve goals.
* Aspirations to learn new skills and improve professionally.
* Knowledge of cloud engineering (AWS, Docker, Microservices) is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile environment.
