ICT/i-Media Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week
Contract Type: Flexible arrangements available – temp-to-perm or 1 term contract through supply
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT/i-Media Teacher to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a developing department with excellent prospects for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging ICT and i-Media lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Plan comprehensive schemes of work and individual lessons
* Assess and mark student work regularly, providing constructive feedback
* Support students in achieving their full potential in digital technologies
* Contribute to the strategic development and expansion of the ICT/i-Media department
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
* Participate in department meetings and whole-school initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in ICT and i-Media disciplines
* Experience teaching secondary-age students
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Commitment to high standards and student achievement
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
Desirable:
* Experience with current i-Media specifications and assessment requirements
* Knowledge of industry-standard software and digital media tools
* Track record of successful examination results
* Experience in curriculum development
