Venator are a leading global chemical company, with headquarters in Wynyard, Billingham, dedicated to the development and manufacture of titanium dioxide pigments and performance additives. This is a transactional purchasing role supporting multiple sites and managing spend up to the value of $10,000. Spend can vary across services, goods, packaging and logistics. The Role:Create and manage purchase orders, covering the procure-to-pay process from validated demand, typically an approved Purchase Requisition, through to invoice approvalValidating the vendor/new vendor creationCreating purchase ordersObtaining order confirmations from vendorsResolving any purchasing invoice queries including vendor master data and price mismatchesRunning SAP Requests for QuotationSelecting vendorsNegotiating price and payment termsExecute site specific purchasing projects as requiredThe Person / Specification:Experience in a purchasing/procurement related role would be advantageous but not essentialSAP systems experience is essential for this roleGood communication skillsCapable of resolving problemsGood attention to detailAble to start work with immediate effect This is an urgent requirement with interviews to take place in April and an April/May start date available.
