Job Title: Specialist Teaching Assistant for Deaf Children and Young People 1 Vacancy Available 1 x 26 hours: £15937 to £18726 per annum £900 SEN Location: Across Worcestershire Team: Sensory Support Team Permanent, Term-time only The Role: We are a highly regarded, friendly team supporting learners with a sensory loss in mainstream settings across the county. This is an opportunity to join us as a Specialist Teaching Assistant working one to one with a deaf child or young person in a range of settings across the county of Worcestershire. You will be working with Qualified Teachers of the Deaf/ Multisensory Impairment, an Educational Audiologist, and Specialist Practitioners. Available Roles: Worcester Primary School - 1 x 26 hours We are seeking to appoint a committed, experienced and highly motivated Specialist Teaching Assistant with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to support deaf students including those with complex needs, as necessary. Confidence to advocate for the needs of the deaf pupil and the ability to travel across the county is essential. You will have experience of working with children/ young people, deafness, meeting targeted outcomes and a BSL level 2 qualification or working towards one.
