Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Client Onboarding Administrator to join our Risk & Compliance team in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring new and existing clients are onboarded efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements, while supporting the firm’s commitment to compliance and client care.
What You’ll Do
* Validating client instructions and setting up new client and matter files.
* Conducting client due diligence (CDD) checks and ensuring records are up to date.
* Liaising with internal teams and external parties to gather and verify information.
* Supporting the maintenance of AML policies, controls, and procedures.
* Assisting with the preparation of reports for the board on AML matters.
* Maintaining logs and records relating to high-risk clients, suspicious activity, and investigations.
* Escalating potential breaches and supporting ongoing monitoring processes.
* Taking on additional administrative and compliance tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Ideally educated to degree level, though relevant experience will also be considered.
* Previous experience in a professional services or law firm environment (advantageous but not essential).
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in learning new IT systems.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and discreet approach.
* A process-driven, analytical mindset and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
* The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
