We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Headteacher from 1st September 2026.

The role of Assistant Headteacher is integral in our journey of continual school improvement. It is a really exciting time to join our committed, talented team and support our Senior Leadership Team to achieve our ambitious aims and objectives.
Thornhill Junior and Infant School is a two-form entry school on the outskirts of Dewsbury that is part of the Focus Academy Trust. Our most recent Ofsted was in December 2024 where we were graded as ‘Outstanding’ in Personal Development and ‘Good’ in all other areas.
