An established civil engineering company is looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join its growing team.This is a great opportunity for someone who's alreayd gained some experience in their career but who still wants to develop further and get t owork across a varied mix of civil infrastructure, drainage, highways, earthworks and geotechnical-related projects. The role would suit an engineer who enjoys practical design work, problem solving and using modern digital design tools.You will be involved in projects from early-stage feasibility through to detailed design and construction support, working closely with experienced engineers in a technically focused team.The RoleYou will support the delivery of civil engineering design work, including:Producing drawings, models and design information using AutoCAD and Civil 3DSupporting drainage, highways, levels, earthworks and infrastructure designPreparing technical reports, calculations, design notes and project documentationAssisting with geotechnical assessments and interpretation of ground investigation informationSupporting site inspections, surveys and construction-stage queriesHelping ensure designs consider safety, buildability, quality and valueWorking collaboratively with engineers, clients, contractors and project teamsContributing to digital engineering, BIM and improved design workflowsAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:A degree in Civil Engineering or similarPrevious industry experienceGood knowledge of AutoCADExperience with Autodesk Civil 3D would be advantageousUnderstanding of drainage, infrastructure, earthworks or highwaysStrong communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsA proactive attitude and interest in progressing towards ChartershipWhat's on OfferVaried civil engineering and infrastructure project workExposure to both civil and geotechnical designSupport towards Chartership and professional developmentOpportunity to develop strong Civil 3D and digital design capabilityClose support from experienced engineersThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Civil Engineer looking to broaden their technical experience and progress their career within a supportive consultancy team.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
