This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant looking to progress their career - with the opportunity of study support post-probation period! This is a key post within the organisation providing support to the Finance Manager with financial operations. This is a full-time office based role, with a 1pm finish on a Friday! The client is ideally looking for someone to start Immediately.

The Job Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Manager, as the Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:
\n\n
\n\t
* Invoice processing – sales and purchases
\n\t
* Processing bank payments
\n\t
* Bank reconciliations
\n\t
* Credit credit – for a few main customers
\n\t
* VAT Returns
\n\t
* Balance sheet reconciliations
\n\t
* Management Accounts preparation experience would be beneficial
\n\t
* Sage 50 knowledge would be beneficial, but not required as the company will be moving to Business Central at some point next year
