Audit & Risk Recruitment is working with a large Telecommunications business who are seeking a Technology Internal Audit Manager who will be responsible for the timely execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance with the audit plan, as well as assisting with other audit matters and projects. This position functionally reports to the Head of Audit.
Key accountabilities
The Manager will Lead end-to-end (from planning to reporting) risk-based technology audits against a detailed plan and audit program. They will develop a good rapport and solid business relationships with key technology stakeholders including ELT and Senior Leadership to ensure understanding and acceptance of internal audit requirements, approach and reporting methods.
They will also:
* Provide insightful results through audit reporting process.
* Represent Internal Audit in governance forums as required.
* Support the Head of Audit in identifying opportunities to promote the work of Internal Audit across the organisation, including new and innovative ways to enhance the audit workflow and communication.
* Ensure that the use of data analytics within the audit approach is consistent and value adding.
* Recommend and implement ideas for the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit Department and the introduction of enhanced and industry-leading auditing techniques.
