We want a sous chef who with a little training can take over as head chef in the near future.
Situated close to Liphook in Hampshire.
We are looking for a real foodie to join this upmarket gastropub that focuses on fresh, seasonal produce.
Responsibilities
* Assist with training and development of the current kitchen team.
* Provide full input into the menus using local suppliers.
* Manage a 40‑cover restaurant and an additional 50‑cover garden area.
* Ensure consistent quality and GP targets are achieved.
* Maintain market‑trend awareness while writing menus.
Qualifications
* Previous fresh‑food experience – essential.
* Background within AA‑rosettes – advantageous but not essential.
* Track record of team management and people development.
* Hands‑on, self‑starter with strong time‑management skills.
* Proven ability to write menus while keeping to market trends.
