Automotive Bookings Manager – Franchised Car Dealership, Weybridge, Surrey
1. Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 Basic + £50,000 OTE
2. Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday (flexible, no Saturdays)
3. Benefits: 22 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing by 1 day every 2 years (up to 25 days).
Our client, a prestigious franchised car dealership in Weybridge, Surrey, is recruiting for a proactive Automotive Bookings Manager to lead their customer bookings department. This is a new role designed to bring structure, energy, and sales-driven leadership to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Manage and lead a team of 2 bookings advisors and oversee a service administrator.
5. Drive outbound booking strategies to maximise diary hours and conversions.
6. Lead by example, handling calls and converting leads with strong salesmanship.
7. Oversee MOT scheduling, vehicle health checks (winter/summer), and service bookings.
8. Ensure accurate use of Pinnacle booking system and Porsche pricing tool.
9. Address performance issues, challenge conduct, and foster a proactive team environment.
10. Deliver solutions, not problems, treating the department as your own business.
Candidate Requirements:
11. Proven automotive industry experience (e.g., senior service advisor, service manager).
12. Strong technical knowledge of vehicles to guide customers and team.
13. Exceptional sales and negotiation skills; this is not an order-taking role.
14. Experience with Main Dealer IT Management systems
15. Self-sufficient, energetic, and entrepreneurial with a solutions-focused mindset.
16. Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team effectively.
17. Full UK driving licence.
