Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring a holistic approach to child care and learning
* Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children, encouraging their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
* Build strong relationships with children and parents, fostering open communication and partnership
* Conduct observations and assessments to track and promote children's progress and development
* Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain a high standard of care and education
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and nursery policies at all times
* Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Experience:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
* Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Passion for working with young children and commitment to their development and well-being
* Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK
