Restoration Vehicle Technician / Mig Welder Required in Croydon, Surrey
1. Pay: £32,000 - £40,500 Basic Per Annum + overtime
2. Hours: 40 Hours per week contracted, optional overtime evenings and Saturdays - up to you!
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician who can Mig Weld and good experience working on classic vehicles and looking for an exciting new opportunity?
Our client, a respected specialist in vehicle restoration and conversions based in Croydon, Surrey, is seeking a talented Vehicle Technician / Fabricator / Mig Welder to join their vibrant team of automotive engineers. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, independent workshop dedicated to crafting high-quality vehicles across a range of platforms.

Duties of the Vehicle Restoration and Fabricator:
9. Fabricating, Mig welding, and bodywork on vans and motor vehicles
10. Assisting with mechanical tasks including engine work and mechanical repairs
11. Taking on varied projects with independence and a focus on quality
12. Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements of the Vehicle Restoration and Fabricator:
13. Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator, Motor Engineer, or Technician
14. Hands-on skills with welding, fabrication, and mechanical work
15. Versatile, capable of working independently with a keen eye for detail
16. Background in older vehicle restorations is a plus
17. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a range of tasks and vehicle platforms
