Our client, a prominent company within the civil construction sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Southern Civils team. This permanent role is vital for supporting upcoming civils projects in the West Sussex region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage valuations, budgets, and forecasts for civils contracts
* Monitor financial performance and commercial risks on projects
* Manage contract administration and payments in line with NEC and bespoke contract conditions
* Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Support cost control and dispute resolution where necessary
Job Requirements:
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in civils works
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and bespoke contract management
* Proven track record in managing multiple projects and contracts efficiently
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Based near Sevenoaks, Royal Tunbridge Wells, or Croydon, with flexibility to work on-site in West Sussex
