Your new role
This position focuses on oil & gas fields, seeking engineers for a discipline leadership role to manage and grow the existing team and provide technical leadership. The Discipline Manager reports to the Director of Engineering and oversees the discipline's management and project delivery through people, processes, and systems.
The role combines technical expertise, study management, and business development, supporting the company's strategy in pipeline design and engineering, including onshore & offshore pipelines, subsea, materials, and related consultancy specialists.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days based at the Manchester or Aberdeen office, with flexible working options.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be degree qualified in engineering or a related discipline, with at least 15 years of experience in technical delivery and management. You need to be experienced in pipelines and a technical specialist with significant knowledge of the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of energy transition topics like CCUS and hydrogen transportation is desirable.
What you'll get in return
