Job Description
Do you have experience of tailor-making holidays to India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka? We are excited to be working with an award-winning luxury tour operator who are introducing these exciting new destinations to their product portfolio.
Job Duties:
* You will be required to make travel bookings and have a good understanding of the Indian Subcontinent Product, including India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan
* Designing high quality, tailor-made itineraries for a wide range of travellers
* Converting warm sales leads via email, telephone and video calls
* As a Travel expert you will be responsible for the full sales process including planning, costing, refining and confirming itineraries; through to post-travel communications
* You will be required to present high quality travel itineraries that are specifically customised to the client's unique requirements
* Delivery of exceptional client service at all stages of the sales process
Experience required:
1. First-hand knowledge of the Indian Subcontinent with extensive independent travel within this region (India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan)
2. Experience in working in tour operations or tailor-made travel
3. Experience working with Indian Subcontinent itineraries
4. Be able to work within a target-driven environment
5. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
