Service Technician/MOT Tester required in the Helston area
1. Volume Main Dealer
2. Up to £36,000 basic salary depending on experience, OTE up to £50,000
3. Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm
4. 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm
Our Client is looking to add a Service Technician to their busy Volume Dealer workshop in Helston. If you would like to work for a fantastic team in a great environment where everyone is valued for their contribution, then this is the company for you.
To be considered for this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role, you will need:
5. Qualified Level 3 or above in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
6. Diagnostic certificate very desirable obtained with a brand
7. Strong skills with diagnostics and fault finding in passenger vehicles
8. Confident in all jobs from servicing to diagnostics, to enable you to advise both technicians, service advisors and customers
9. A Full UK Driving License
10. Experience of working in a fast paced environment
11. Able to make on the spot decisions, with the customers and company at best interests in mind
12. Advantageous but not essential to have an MOT licence
Job Duties as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
13. Diagnose complex symptoms across the whole range of vehicle systems, as well as routine service and repairs.
14. Ensure quality workmanship and a first time fix to keep our customers happy.
15. Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues and spot opportunities to upsell.
16. Liaise with workshop supervision regarding work progress.
17. Maintain a clean and safe work bay.
