We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Assistant to join our family on a full time basis. We are looking for someone that has previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Handyperson; with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team with great communication skills, both verbal and written.
Location:
Employment Type: Part-time (16 hours/week, Weekends)
Working Pattern: Shifts starts at 9am till 5pm or 10am till 6pm.
Salary: £12.21 per hour plus service charge

Key
Responsibilities of a Maintenance Assistant:
* Respond quickly and efficiently
to all repair and maintenance issues throughout the hotel.
* Perform scheduled preventative
maintenance to ensure smooth operation of hotel facilities.
* Undertake painting and touch-up
work across public areas and back-of-house spaces.
* Maintain and organise tools,
materials, and equipment related to maintenance tasks.
* Liaise with all departments to
minimise disruption and respond to maintenance requests promptly.
* Carry out minor electrical,
plumbing, carpentry, and general handyman duties as required.
* Ensure all work complies with
relevant health, safety, and fire regulations.
* Keep accurate maintenance records
and assist in maintaining service logs.

* Previous experience in a Maintenance Assistant or Handyperson role, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
* Broad knowledge of basic trades
including plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs.
* Ability to work independently and
as part of a team with minimal supervision.
* Strong communication skills, both
verbal and written.
* Great attention to detail and
problem-solving skills.
* A calm and professional manner,
especially when dealing with guests and urgent issues

with a willingness to work varied shifts.
