Food & Beverage Assistant Key Responsibilities
* Ensure guests receive a warm, friendly welcome and attentive service throughout their visit to our restaurant, bar, and event areas.
* Serve food and drinks efficiently and professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation at all times.
* Support with setting up and clearing down tables, ensuring dining and service areas remain clean and inviting.
* Assist with stock control, replenishing food & beverage supplies as required.
* Respond promptly to guest enquiries and feedback, ensuring every guest enjoys their experience.
* Work closely with kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Adhere to food hygiene, health and safety, and hotel policies at all times.
Essential Skills and Experience for Food & Beverage Roles
* Previous experience in a food and beverage, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional appearance and a proactive, positive attitude.
* Strong attention to detail, reliable, and punctual.
* Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
