CNC Setter/Operator
As part of our team, you will contribute to the manufacturing of high-precision components for critical industries such as nuclear, defence, and oil and gas.

You will be setting and operating CNC lathes using 2 and 3 axis Fanuc controls. You may be working on conventional CNCs, twin spindle and twin turret, Doosan, Biglia, and sliding head machines. These machines are maintained properly and equipped with everything you need to do a good job.
As a CNC Setter Operator, you will be involved from the start of the job, including:
* Completing full machine set-ups on various types and sizes of machines.
* Working with exotic materials.
* Editing programmes when needed and checking everything to the required standard.
There is a team of engineers and programmers around you, but you will be trusted to complete your tasks independently and properly.
You will be working alongside a steady, highly skilled team who know their machines and care about doing things properly. It’s a place where people stay, not because they have to, but because they are respected and treated well.
Fixed days and night shifts are available. The hours and benefits include:
Nights
* An hourly rate of GBP14 - GBP16 plus GBP3 per hour shift allowance.
* Monday to Thursday, 6 pm - 6 am (finishing Friday morning at 6 am).
* Overtime available at time and a half and double time.

Setter operators need to be competent in reading drawings, using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, thread micrometers, callipers, gauges, and ring gauges, and working to tight tolerances, working closely with inspection.
