The company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager or Associate Project Manager to join their dynamic real estate team in Newcastle. As a key team member, you will lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion.
Requirements include a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
1. Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale construction projects, ensuring successful delivery within time, budget, and quality parameters.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to meet project objectives.
4. Implement and oversee project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Monitor project finances and manage change control processes.
7. Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders through meetings and reports.
8. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
9. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
10. Mentor junior project managers to support their professional development.
Candidate Profile
Ideally, you are currently working for another consultancy and hold a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification are advantageous.
