The UI/UX Designer Role
Were looking for a talented and user-focused UI/UX Designer to join our growing team at 3D Group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on crafting intuitive user journeys for software applications and designing visually compelling marketing websites that drive traffic, conversions, and engagement.
Youll work across a variety of products and brands including 3D Group, OSCA, and 3D Autokeys, contributing to both internal tools and customer-facing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and prototype engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to refine user journeys.
Conduct user research and usability testing to uncover key insights and drive design improvements.
Translate complex requirements into elegant, accessible, and intuitive design solutions.
Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design intent.
Design marketing websites and landing pages that maximise engagement and conversions.
Apply strong design fundamentals - contrast, hierarchy, and consistency - to ensure usability.
Continuously iterate based on feedback, analytics, and evolving business goals.
The Ideal Candidate
Youre a creative problem solver whos as comfortable with UX research as you are with crafting stunning UI designs. You care deeply about user needs and know how to balance creativity with practical business outcomes.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience designing both web applications and marketing websites.
Advanced Figma skills, including component libraries, auto-layout, and prototyping.
Strong understanding of UX research techniques (interviews, usability tests, surveys).
Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility, and design systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience working collaboratively in agile, cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills
Awareness of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support collaboration.
Experience with analytics tools such as Hotjar or Google Analytics.
Knowledge of SEO, CRO, and A/B testing for data-driven design decisions.
Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
Ability to create personas, journey maps, and user flows aligned with business goals.
