The Role
* Act as a Key Person for a group of children, supporting their learning, development and well‑being.
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
* Provide engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences aligned with the EYFS, following children's interests.
* Support assessment through observations, learning stories, and recording developmental milestones.
* Promote inclusive practice, meeting the needs of children with SEND, EAL and diverse backgrounds.
* Maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children thrive.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, Early Years Educators and external agencies.
Requirements
* A recognised Level 3 Childcare Qualification (e.g., NNEB, BTEC, CACHE, NVQ Level 3).
* Experience working with children under 5, ideally within a nursery or early years setting.
* Experience supporting children with SEND, disabilities, or additional needs.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Good literacy, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to equality, safeguarding, and inclusive practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
