Location: Berkshire Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum benefits Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Are you a technical expert in AV integration who thrives at the intersection of solution design, client engagement, and delivery excellence? We're recruiting for a respected and growing AV integration specialist looking to appoint a Pre & Post Sales Technical Lead. This is a critical leadership role where you'll own the technical authority for complex projects, from pre-sales scoping to final delivery. You'll work closely with internal sales, engineering, and project teams to ensure AV solutions are innovative, commercially viable, and future-proof. What You'll Be Doing: Act as the technical lead for pre-sales engagements, scoping requirements and designing bespoke AV solutions. Create detailed system designs, schematics, BoMs, and technical documentation. Lead the technical response to RFPs, bids, and tenders. Approve BoMs and Professional Services pricing for complex AV projects. Create and implement workflow processes from enquiry through to delivery. Identify and recommend emerging technologies and vendor solutions. Support engineering teams with design guidance and troubleshooting. Play a key role in developing a Managed Services proposition with pricing tools and training plans. What We're Looking For: Minimum 5 years of experience in AV pre-sales, solution design, or consultancy roles. Strong knowledge of AV integration technologies, including control systems, signal distribution, unified comms, and networking. Hands-on experience with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Microsoft Teams Rooms, or Zoom Rooms. Industry certifications (e.g. CTS, CTS-D) preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and lead the technical narrative from concept to handover. Nice to Have: Familiarity with AVaaS or managed service models. Understanding of AV over IP and IT infrastructure. Experience with tools like D-Tools, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Visio. Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
