Every healthcare system in history has been a fundamental trade-off between quality and scale - our mission is to change that. We're building a new category of AI-native healthcare provider, using full-stack care automation to deliver world-class treatment at population scale. Our AI physiotherapy clinic is already democratising access to 24/7 healthcare for NHS patients across the UK, and we're just getting started.
The Role
Flok is expanding quickly throughout the UK in the NHS and into Europe. Each healthcare provider we partner with is unique, with high levels of variation in existing clinical processes, patient flows and clinical capacity. A patient's experience with Flok is heavily influenced by their first interactions, and we believe great integrations with existing processes within NHS organisations are key to providing the best care. You'll work directly with NHS trusts, understanding their services and implementing end-to-end solutions that work best for their patients.
What you'll do
* Own end-to-end technical implementation for NHS customers such as, EHR integrations, data reporting, patient onboarding.
* Build custom flows for patient entry and discharge points that fit into customers' existing workflows mapping to how care is actually delivered.
* Work alongside the implementation team to onboard new and prospective customers, answering technical queries along the way.
* Help customers identify opportunities for process improvements within their own organisations.
* Continuously improve our time to onboard new customers, carrying learnings from each implementation into the next.
* Understand customers' true needs and derive requirements that help accelerate Flok's core mission.
We're looking for someone who is
* An engineer at heart - happy writing code in Python, TypeScript or whatever best fits a bespoke integration, but equally able to identify organisational or process solutions.
* A clear communicator who can explain complex topics to both senior NHS leaders and administrative staff.
* Able to translate complex and varied NHS processes into clear requirements for product and engineering teams.
* Genuinely motivated to improve patient experience and outcomes.
We don't expect you to have done these, but they will help you stand out:
* Previously worked in healthtech or enterprise software in a customer-facing role.
* 3+ years in an engineering role with direct customer contact, such as an implementation engineer, technical support engineer or forward deployed engineer.
* Experience integrating with NHS systems and common healthcare standards and APIs such as PDS, GP Connect, HL7 FHIR, SystmOne, EMIS etc.
* Familiarity with data analysis techniques and able to use data to communicate.
What We Offer
* Challenging work at the frontier of AI-native healthcare
* In-person collaborative culture in a beautiful work space in the Cambridgeshire countryside
* An onsite gym and digital health subscription of your choice
* Early stage equity with employee-friendly terms (via an EMI scheme)
* Comprehensive medical coverage (including dental and optical) and life insurance
* Optional remote working on Wednesdays, with an annual allowance of 10 extra remote days
* Desk setup allowance for your favourite keyboard / mouse / whatever!
* Monthly team feasts (and the BBQ is used most days)
* A fast paced work environment geared towards excellence and professional growth (with annual training budget)
* A chance to have a big impact in a small team transforming care and outcomes at population scale
